During April 22 to the 24 of 2022 Team Mega Wildcats 17u traveled down to Pittsburgh PA to participate in one of Hoop Groups biggest events. Hoop Group Pitt Jamfest. With over 600 teams. The event was during the NCAA live period so hundreds of college programs where in attendance to check out the talent. We finished 2-2 in highly competitive Hoop Group Showcase League 1 bracket. With some of the best programs in the country. Sneakers teams and the top independent programs. Not a bad trip considering this roster didn’t have much experience with each other and was mostly underclassmen and a few unsigned seniors get one more opportunity to impress a college coaches. For many this was there first time playing in such an event and in front of so many college coaches. There were many positives. As we build chemistry, get more games and practices under our belts I see us doing very well. The marathon begins.
